If the Windows Presentation Framework font cache becomes corrupted, this can cause the Spawtz Scorer (and any other WPF applications on your computer) to hang either on startup or when moving from screen to screen, or to crash, or to display strange fonts (for example, squares instead of characters).  If this happens you can fix the problem by clearing the WPF font cache:

1. Run services.msc

2. Stop Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0 service

3. Delete FontCache3.0.0.0.dat, or the entire FontCache folder from the following folder:

in XP:

c:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data

in Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10:

c:\windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local

NOTE: If any of the above folders appear to be missing, then make sure you are able to view hidden files and folders.  (On Windows 7 you do this by going to Organise -> Folder and Search options -> View -> change "Don't show hidden files, folders or drives" to "Show hidden files, folders or drives")

4. Restart the machine
